Family Registration for returning families is $25 for the semester. For new families, registration is $35. Late registrations is $45.
We have categorized most of our classes into Charlotte Mason's Forms system. We use this system to determine which sections and which classes students are ready to attend. When we label an offering as designed for a particular Form, we ask that the student meet the minimum age for that Form, and not exceed the maximum age for that Form either. We realize there will be exceptions, but those are to be discussed with the Director and the teacher of that particular class prior to registration.
Form 1 can be divided out into two parts, but includes children ages 6-9. The two parts are as follows:
Form IIB: age 9
Form IIA: age 10-12
Later Forms are not divided into two parts, but cover a more general time frame in the student's education. They are as follows:
Form III and IV: roughly grades 7-9 (At CCC we usually expect a Form III student to be at least 12 years old, but in some cases, they may not begin Form III until they are 13 years old, depending on the family.)
Form V and VI: roughly grades 10-12 (At CCC we usually expect a Form V student to be at least 15 years old but in some cases, they may not begin Form V until they are 16 years old, depending on the family.)
Ballet (PreK and Form 1: $55, Form 2: $60, Form 3-6: $70, $3.00 Cottage fee)
Class min: 6 (per section), max: 18 (per section)
Learn classical ballet from our gifted ballerina, Madame McGlawn!
The age of your ballet student will determine which section they take. Students will need to sign up for the Form that they fit into. We are working to make classes the most beneficial for all students, and grouping them based on age can help maintain the highest quality for all students.
We have a strict dress code for all children taking this class: BLACK leotard, PINK tights, and PINK ballet shoes. No extra clothing (shorts, sweatshirts, etc) may be worn over the uniform. If modesty is an issue, you may purchase a long sleeve or turtle neck leotard or a black wrap-around ballet skirt. Hair in BUN. (Moms taking Silver Swans Ballet can wear whatever stretchy clothing.) Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class to dress; you are welcome to leave your ballet bag at CCC. For any further questions about the reasons why we require a uniform, please direct those questions to Madame McGlawn. (Please do not sign up for this class if abiding by the uniform policy feels oppressive to you for any reason, as this is not up for discussion. Thanks in advance for understanding!)
Special Study Watercolor: Flowers ($5 class fee, $3.00 Cottage fee)
Class min: 3, max: 20
Mrs. Ashley Franz will continue to provide materials and guidance for this subject. Students will be given time and resources to paint tiny watercolors of various flowers, learning their names as they paint. Children will get to trade flower paintings with friends. This class can count as Nature Study and/or Brush Drawing in your weekly lessons. This class is for Form 2 and up. This class will not have a formal period of instruction, but instead, Mrs. Ashley will be close by to answer any questions and make sure students have what they need to succeed in painting their flowers. Students will do best in this class if they have some kind of watercolor experience. There is a set period of time in the schedule allotted to Watercolor, but if a class happens right before or after that time period, and the teacher approves, students may take their Watercolor to that class. However, students MUST clean up materials properly or they will not be able to continue bringing their Watercolor to another class. We will discuss this on the first day of class.

Students will also have a time of oral narration and opportunities to share the quotes added to their Book of Mottoes/Commonplace Book. If your student has not yet begun their own Book of Mottoes, now is a great time to introduce this habit to them and pick up a special notebook so they can begin gathering their favorite living ideas from great authors. This class is for Forms III through VI (7th-12th grades). If your student is new to the class this term they are encouraged to read the first half of book I, through Part III, ch. V and we will pick up in Part III, ch. six.

This class will not have a formal period of instruction, but instead, Mrs. Ashley will be close by to answer any questions and make sure students have what they need to succeed in Paper Sloyd. There is a set period of time in the schedule allotted to Sloyd, but if students do not have a class before or after that time, they may continue to work as long as they are not disrupting another class. Students MUST clean up their materials or they will not be allowed to work beyond the allotted time. We will discuss this on the first day of class.

Pickleball
No min/max
Allen Wells will be leading this informal class for three Friday afternoons in April. The class is designed as a meet-up-and-play setup, with time for Mr. Wells to go over the rules and beginner info with those who are new the sport and also work with some intermediate students on game-play strategies and advancing their skills. This class is free and will take place off campus at Berryhill Park in Searcy. Students will meet at the Pickleball Courts at 5pm on April 5th, 12th, and 26th to practice for one hour. This instructional time will benefit most students ages 8 and up. Parents must use their discretion in dropping off older students, but are encouraged not to drop off students younger than age 10. Parents must be prompt in picking up students, and neither CCC nor the Wells family will be liable for any accidents or injuries that occur during this time.
Depending on the crowd at Berryhill during those times, students may have to share a limited court space and take turns playing games/practicing. There will be a limited number of paddles and balls available, so it may be beneficial for students to bring their own or take turns sharing what we have in stock. Students will need to bring their own water to the courts.

Any students with reading ability and willingness to pay attention are welcome. (Full Read-thru is Required for ALL participating in the show.)
Second is Preparing and Performing Shakespeare’s play, which is an amazing opportunity to grow in friendships, leadership, understanding, expression, and poise. This endeavor is a group project and each part relies on the others, so this requires commitments to Memorize the assigned role(s), and Attend ALL scheduled rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performances. (See Schedule below and weigh your commitments carefully.)
Schedule:
Read-Thru
March 1-2 (9-1 both days. Full Read-thru is Required for ALL participating in the show.)

At the end of the Read-through, the students will audition for the parts they are interested in. Cast lists will be posted soon after, with a possibility of having two separate casts to give more students the opportunity to participate. All students in the show are expected to speak at least one line. *(If a double cast, one will rehearse in the mornings, one in the afternoons. If a single cast, rehearsals will be determined by the director.)

Nature School Program ($83.00)
min 4, max 8
We will offer our Nature-based program on Mondays, from 10:00am-11:30am, which will also coincide with some regular co-op hours. The cost per student for the entire semester is $83.00. That's about $10 a week, which includes all supplies needed! Your child may bring their own snack with them, and there is water at the Cottage free for anyone to use. Parents will always be welcome to stay with their child during Nature School, but are not required to do so. Children who are ready and able to stay by themselves in class are permitted to do so. However, please be aware that we do not want any students to be upset during class and we may ask parents to stay for a bit with a child who is having a hard time. Children do not have to stay the entire time, and may leave early or come after class has started as needed. We do, however, ask that parents respect the 10:00-11:30am hours, and do NOT under any circumstance, drop children off early or pick them up late. Doing so may incur a fee.
Children will need to dress appropriately for the weather as much of the program will take place outdoors. Therefore, children will want to have a rain coat/rain boots with them for rainy days, a change of weather-appropriate clothing, and clothes/shoes that can handle mud and water. Students will also possibly need sunscreen or a hat for classes, depending on the child.
The program is taught by Jodie Ferren and Ellie Ferren for ages 2-6, and we will need a minimum of 4 students enrolled for the class to make, with a maximum of 8.
We have categorized most of our classes into Charlotte Mason's Forms system. We use this system to determine which sections and which classes students are ready to attend. Folksongs: Pirate Songs and Sea Shanties (Free if signed up for ABC; if not, there is a $3.00 Cottage fee per student)
Class min: 4, max: 30
This class for all ages will dovetail in with ABC, so some weeks may have longer times of singing and other days the group may sing only one or two songs. Students will learn a few new marine-related songs, but of course, we will break out some of our perennial favorites as well. This class, taught by Taylor Guy, is for all ages. This class will not meet on March 29th or April 12th. (Families are encouraged to sign up for both ABC and Folksong together this term, since class times will be variable for each. If your family does not want to do this and only plans to come for Folksongs, it would be advisable to plan for the class to meet for 20 minutes, knowing that some meetings will only be 10 minutes and some will go the entire 20 minutes.)
Pickleball

Shakespeare: Read-Thru, Class, and performance ($30 class fee, $3 Cottage fee)
Read-Thru of play only ($7 class fee, $3 Cottage fee)
Performance min: 15, max: 30* (*Play may be double-cast)
Read-Thru max: 50
Shakespeare was a master of the English language and had a deep understanding of human character. Studying Shakespeare is a joy.
Our study of a Shakespeare play is in two parts.
First is the Read-Thru, an immersive experience in the language, characters, action, and fun of Shakespeare; and open to students, parents, siblings, and friends. Mrs. Shannon Foust and students read through the entire play, taking turns to read parts and pausing frequently to discuss what has been said and done.
Rehearsals
May 1-2 (9-12)
May 6-10 (9-12, 2-5)
May 13-15 (9-12*, 2-5*) (approximate times)
Performances
May 16-17 (reserve 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.- specifics TBD)

Silver Swans ($30 class fee per adult student)
Come join other moms in learning the basics of ballet. We will spend time stretching, strengthening, and learning the foundations of this beautiful art form from Mrs. McGlawn. All levels of experience welcome. We ask that this class time be reserved for moms and female caregivers.
Moms' Book Club (Free; potential to earn registration discount)
In our Moms'-only book club, moms will select a Charlotte Mason Volume to read, and we will spend the semesters reading at home, and narrating to the group. Anyone who attends at least 3 meetings will be refunded $15 of their registration fee.
